The post holder has responsibility for providing on-site, expert mental health support and counseling to students. Also, proposing, organizing, and implementing programs and services related to the mental and physical well-being of the student population services. ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical assessment, short-term psychotherapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention to student population at the assigned Global Academic Center.Build close working relationships with external mental health providers (including psychiatrists) and other medical professionals.Refer students to other/external health care providers, as needed.Provide confidential consultations to students involved in sexual misconduct matters to ensure that all options available to them are fully understood and that victims have immediate access to any and all appropriate services, including emergent medical care and guidance on criminal proceedings and processes.Collaborate closely with the institution academic center Student Life team in the development, communication, and implementation of new and existing wellness programs.Collaborate closely with Counselling and Wellness Services and with Student Health Centre in planning strategies for incoming students identified with mental or physical health needs and in creating emergency response plans for students who are exhibiting concerning symptoms.Serve 24-hour on call for crisis situations relating to health. Intervene personally where necessary (e.g. suicidal ideation, assault of any kind, injury, attempted suicide, etc.).Propose, produce, or procure health promotion materials and supplies in collaboration with offices or approved external providers. Track wellness - related cases and services for end-of-program review. Collect feedback about health services and prepare reports.Be a visible source of support to the student community through participation a orientation sessions, availability in the Academic Center, and presence in the residences.Provide training as required for Student Life and residential staff, faculty, and other administrators.Assist the Site Director as requested for the successful running of the programs.

**Requisitos**:
**Required Education**: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology or a Masters or Ph.D. in Social Work and must hold the proper license/accreditation to legally provide counseling services into students at the assigned Global Academic Center.Required Experience: University counseling experience is preferred and knowledge of the US university system is desirable.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: a) Understanding and empathy with needs and expectations of a diverse student body; b) Knowledge in areas such as depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and acculturation stress, acute stress, culture shock, bipolar disorder, students exhibiting psychotic symptoms, interpersonal conflict, substance abuse, PTSD, decision-making, eating disorders, etc. c) Ability to gather and report information accurately, clearly, and concisely; d) Strong organizational ability e) Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite f) Excellent written & oral skills in EnglishPreferred fluency in the official language for the assigned Global Academic Center.
