Data Strategist

Pulpo is seeking a Data Strategist with exceptional quantitative and analytical skills to become part of our extraordinary team. If you like to work in a fast-paced environment with constant challenges and in a growing industry as digital we want to hear from you.

Will be responsible for all data analysis and insights, the definition of taxonomy and ensuring the best cost-effective use of our proprietary data, as well as of all data integrations with third party platforms.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for company and clients business needs
- Collect large structured and unstructured datasets and variables
- Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy
- Define Data Taxonomy of segments.
- Integrate own technology with third party platforms.
- Build and maintain the data pipeline.
- Define Data strategy (data recollection, retargeting).
- Data analytics in order to discover new patterns.
- Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed to operational system
- Help on campaign optimization based on data and insights.
- Cost analysis.
- Data monetization strategy.
- Lead and ensure execution of cross-department Data Efforts.

**Requirements**:

- No less than 2 years of experience in digital industry roles.
- Experience with Tableau, SQL
- Knowledge of Data Management Platforms.
- Written and Spoken fluency in both Spanish and English.
- High Sense of Ownership on the job.
- Self-motivated and driven with the ability to execute as part of a multi-functional team.
- Understanding digital/media advertising workflow (impressions, CPM, conversions, CTR, etc.).
- Knowledge of audience targeting and data-driven audience tactics.
- Statistics knowledge.
- Coding (R, Hadoop, Hive, SQL, etc.).
- Data modeling.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, result-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects
