**Job Description** About this Job**
The Senior Analyst will be involved in projects from a modelling perspective.
His/her responsibilities will start from understanding project briefs from internal stakeholders, identifying analytic solutions that will answer client questions, and executing them error-free and delivering results on time.
The work will be heavy on data analyses, statistical modelling, and will require working on big data using analytical software designed internally to enable faster execution and scalability.
As the Senior Analyst grows in experience, the profile will require that he/she starts carrying out the above tasks independently, contributing to building relationships with internal stakeholders, and improving our analytical solutions through R&D (Research & Development) initiatives and value-added insights.
**Responsibilities**
- Execute analyses error-free and on time.
- Manage execution of multiple analyses within project
- Carry out multiple standard/non-standard analyses to help build quality and insightful proposals and final insights presentations.
- Gain a detailed understanding and develop expertise in existing analytical solutions.
- Always look out and experiment with different techniques/methods to improve existing solutions.
- Help in R&D studies by carrying out analyses as planned.
- Support other COE associates when required especially during peak workload.
- Ensure deliveries follow established SLAs to meet the overall delivery commitment of markets and overall regions.
- Drive high level engagement with internal stakeholders by contributing to project discussions and recommending most apt solutions.
**About you**
Passionate about Analytics and data analyses; interest/knowledge or experience with statistical modeling will be an added advantage. Should have a problem-solving attitude along with an eye for detail. You need to be proactive in your communication with all the stakeholders providing clarity and confidence and should have the ability to say no when required.
**Qualifications**
- Postgraduate in either of Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Operation Research fields.
- Excellent, clear, and confident communication.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team and guide junior associates.
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Statistical techniques.
- Hands-on working knowledge and experience with statistical software like Python and R.
- Proficiency in data processing/programming tools such as R/Python/SQL.
- Good written communication and verbal skills.
- Responsive and proactive in your communication and conduct.
- Results-driven and takes ownership.
