As a member of our Infrastructure Development team, you'll dive right into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to developing and deploying large-scale infrastructure solutions that support JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s diverse and critical businesses. You'll be using the latest technologies, data management, and security practices in all aspect of software development. Critical thinking, clear communication, and collaboration are key to successful product delivery.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Python (mandatory), Java, C, C++, Go
- Understanding or have experience with Agile and Lean philosophies
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
- Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals

**Required skills**:
In-depth Knowledge of infrastructure and expert knowledge of RHEL 6/7/8
Domain Expert of the Infrastructure supported and interdependencies
Modern compute technologies (e.g., virtualization tech stack like Power VM, ESX, cloud)
Experience in large scale software development in one or more of the programming languages (Python (mandatory), Perl, Shell, C, C++ etc.)
Experience in end-to-end systems automation and orchestration
Excellent understanding and experience of TDD, DevOps and CI/CD to achieve seamless one click delivery
Participate in code reviews and ensure all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications
Prior experience in both Systems Administration and Systems Engineering
Experience with Configuration Management tool like Ansible (mandatory) / Puppet / Chef / PowerShell

**Desired skills**:
Experience in server hardware (Linux, IBM POWER, HP ProLiant, X86 Dell and Cisco UCS Blades)
Strong understanding of infrastructure components and how they are tracked and managed in various systems
Familiar with Agile development process and automated testing
Familiar with Agile development process (Devops, Ansible, JIRA, Jules) and automated testing
Experience on SDLC, CI/CD, Bitbucket, GitHub, Cucumber, Jenkins and REST APIs
Database support background
