**Main Responsibilities**:

- A proficient Solutions Architect looks at the existing environment and analyzes what technologies are available and what software product must be developed to provide the best solution for the problem that needs to be solved.
- Creating an overall strategic technical vision, developing a budget for producing a software product based on that vision.
- Monitoring the process and keeping stakeholders updated and informed on the progress, while making sure that each party's needs are considered and factored into the project's scope.

**What you'll do**:

- Provide technical support to the Sales team during the sales process.
- As part of the Sales team, interact with prospective clients to understand client requirements, formulate, whiteboard and present technical and delivery solutions and responses to support the Sales team during the pre-sales engagement.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, Product and Professional Services teams to fully maximize the Launchpad solution's strength, and enhance sales process and drive win rate.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Launchpad Paasport TM product platform and all associated products, use market and technical knowledge to consult on best practices and offer constructive direction for implementation.
- Educate customers on all resources available to them in an effort to increase Launchpad's value proposition.
- Contribute to Knowledge Base Articles and FAQ's as required.
- Consistently communicate with decision-makers to understand their digital transformation needs and business requirements.
- Work closely with Account Executives on opportunities and perform product demos as required.
- Travel as needed and to work flexible hours throughout the sales territory

**Experience & Skills**:

- A degree or diploma from post-secondary education in the field of engineering, and/or software development, and/or business.
- 5+ years' experience in a solutions architect and/or senior support role working with a SaaS platform.
- Hands on software development experience is a bonus.
- 3+ years of enterprise technical pre-sales experience, skillset to establish trust with clients, and ability to influence key decision makers in the sales cycle.
- 3+ years of experience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently and effectively.
- Effective verbal and written presentation and communication skills, able to create engaging presentations, communicate clearly, and relate to audiences from both business and technical backgrounds.
- Approach problems as an opportunity to learn and bring in new ideas.
- Strong business and technical aptitude with a proven ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Quick to adapt and able to understand various commercial deal structures.
- Ability to lead architectural discussions.
- Excellent whiteboard skills.
- A passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customers.
- Salesforce and other CRM experience is an asset.
- Integration platform experience (Mulesoft, Apache Camel, Informatica, etc.) is an asset.
