**Quality Specialist - Sensory, your next position?**

In this role, as part of our **Taste & Wellbeing** team, you will inspect and analyse raw materials and finished product samples to secure their compliance with product safety regulations, specifications and standards, thus playing an important part in the quality assurance of our final products. You will report to the Quality Manager.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Perform sensory evaluations of products or incoming ingredients as identified by the current Givaudan specification for the item.
- Perform sensory evaluations of products.
- Enter test results into SAP resulting in an acceptance or rejection.
- Perform instruments, equipment and quality deviations troubleshooting in laboratory.
- Maintain work a hygienic and safe work environment.
- Identify opportunity for improvements in QC and set proactive measure for trouble prevention.
- Lead sensory evaluations and troubleshooting of products and ingredients.
- Make usage decisions or escalate issues.
- Lead improvements in QC and set proactive measure to prevent issues.

You will work on-site in our Taste & Wellbeing facility located in **Munro, Gran Buenos Aires.**

Your professional profile includes:

- University or Technical degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the food or beverages industry.
- Experience in sensory evaluation & troubleshooting.
- Operational experience in a laboratory environment, using analytical equipment and instruments such as weighing balance, Densitometer, Refractometer, Moisture balances, Karl Fischer Titrator, Sieve testing equipment, GC.
- Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations.
- Upper-intermediate level of English, both oral and written.
