**Main Purpose**

The main purpose is to ensure the optimum in the management of financial risks within the Bayer Group companies in the Conosur Region, prioritizing Bayer Group interest by optimizing cash balances, funding, fluctuations in FX result as well as monitoring and reporting the company’s exposure to commodity price risk in cooperation with BAG FI CTR Commodity Price Risk Management.

**Your mission Will be to**
- Build analyze and present for approval of the head of Finance the short-term financial plan (or cash flow, 4 weeks) of group companies in Conosur which includes the financial strategy proposed. Once the plan is evaluated and approved by the Head of Finance, the responsibility of the employee is to execute the financial strategy adopted.
- Build, analyze and present for approval of the head of Finance and the CFO the middle-term financial plan (or Financial Plan, 15 months) of group companies in Conosur, considering best and worst case situations. And a wide perspective, insights and advise on the local economical/financial scenarios. This shall be the basis for making financial decisions in the middle and long-term basis. Once the plan is evaluated and approved by the Head of Finance and the CFO, the responsibility of the employee is to execute the financial strategy adopted and reports to Headquarters.
- Special power of attorney to act on behalf of Bayer before Financial entities and banks for all companies in Conosur Region.
- Manage the exposure to foreign exchange and monitor commodity price risks of the LEs in line with policies from BAG FI. (a. by developing and maintaining the centralized system of currency exposure projections to support currency risk management and execute external fx transactions with approved counterparties; b. by developing, proposing and setting up solutions to optimize and secure processes and systems which and c. by coordinating the reporting of fx and commodity exposure and risk mitigation measures to BAG FI (risk mitigation is not solely CFC))
- Ensure the financing of LE’s: ensure the necessary liquidity of each LE based upon the financial forecasts of the LEs in Conosur by deciding upon the appropriate financing (internal and external) in line with policies from BAG FI and maintain the solvency of the LE’s, determine the necessary funding requirements and minimize excess liquidity.
- Create, maintain and improve relationships with banks and financial institutions (local and of shore), the aim of which is to assist in this matters so as to obtain results.
- Development, proposal and execution of adequate Customer Financing Tools in close coordination and alignment with business partners, local stakeholders of the corporate functions and BAG-FI

- College degree, CPA, Business Administration or Economics.
- Expert in Finance, Solid knowledge in Accounting, Taxes, Foreign Trade, Audit and Legal in financial matters related.
- It requires extensive knowledge of financial management tools as well as high use of PC software (Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Internet, Word, etc) as well as specific software Bloomberg financial and / or Reuters.
- English Language is required.
- Proactive personality, analytical, leadership and strategic vision.
- Collaboration and influence skills.
- Courage and lean & fast approach to problem solving Instills trust and empower others
- Magistry in Finance is desirable
