- Key responsibilities:_

Designing and developing microservices with Node.js or similar
- Mandatory or High Knowledge:_

Proactive to learn and keep up to date with the latest technologies

Knowledge about JavaScript/TypeScript or Java

Aware of recent and upcoming JavaScript changes and understanding of JavaScript strong and weak areas, as well as its key concepts, such as the event loop or asynchronous coding.

Knowledge about the latest JavaScript syntax and features like destructuring, callbacks, async/await, etc.

Knowledge about Java features, such as generics, streams, var args, etc.

Knowledge about Node.js and features such as clustering, child processes, etc.

Understanding of the key concepts of unit testing and knowledge of Jest or JUnit to develop tests.

Capability to work with Linux systems

Experience working with SQL databases (IE: OracleDB/MSSQL/MySQL)

Knowledge about frontend framework/library like Angular or React

Keeping an eye on the details to improve the user experience and usability

Familiarity with Git and GitHub

Experience or knowhow of working with agile methodology

Able to create necessary documentation
- Desirable:_

Knowledge of: ISO8583, coding TCP/UDP process, transactional systems or processes

Knowledge of NoSQL databases (preferably mongoDB).

Work experience creating and maintaining Docker containers
