**The Role**:
A Senior.Net Software Engineer involved in all areas of development from design to development to testing. More specifically, the Software Engineer is responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining the company’s software including adapting it to new hardware, improving its performance, and upgrading its interfaces. The Software Engineer will also be involved validation procedures, troubleshooting and working with customers and internal teams **(IH)** on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with other software developers and teams to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain the company’s software following established standards.
- Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and budget.
- Performing software maintenance, modifications, and enhancements to new and existing products through programming, testing, documenting.
- Modifying software to adapt it to hardware requirements, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Packaging and supporting the deployment of releases and make recommendations on the installation of software with clients including software-hardware interfaces.
- Working with customers and internal teams on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
- Providing advice on and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Providing third-level support to business users.

**Requirements**:

- A college diploma, preferably in Computer Science, Software Development or Business in Information Technology or related disciplines.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and quality assurance or a related role using:

- Proficient with Microsoft programming languages in a Windows Environment (VB.Net, C#), software development life cycle and network technologies.
- Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server Transact SQL.
- Proficient using version control systems (Git).
- Technology Assets - Experience with:

- REST/SOAP web services and WCF.
- Cloud computing platforms (e.g., MS Azure, AWS).
- Agile/Scrum development process.
- Relevant Professional Microsoft Developer certification(s).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Business Perspective: Demonstrates a basic understanding of business issues, processes, and outcomes.
- Client Focus: Supports clients in a prompt and responsive manner.
- Teamwork: Proactively assists and involves others. Effectively participate in discussions with peers on the design and development of the company software.
- Decision Making: Using critical thinking, good business sense and organizational values to make decisions involving varying levels of risk and ambiguity.
- Adaptability: Adapting to work effectively in ambiguous or changing situations, handles multiple concurrent projects, and with diverse individuals, clients, and groups.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrates concern for thoroughness, accuracy and being detail-oriented
- Analytical Thinking: Identifies critical relationships in information.
