**Responsibilities**:
**Who are you?**

As an Engineering Project Manager within Personify Health, you are accountable for planning large software engineering projects that involve multiple teams, owning the creation and maintenance of engineering project plans, manage internal milestones and escalations, collaborate closely with multiple product and engineering teams, and help remove execution roadblocks. You’ll be challenged to wear many hats as you plan, and coordinate features and enhancements used by millions of users. As an engineering project manager in a software company, you're not only comfortable with technology, but you’re also motivated by it to fill gaps that support critical initiatives, you lead by establishing project ownership and accountability, and constantly challenge the status quo of how we deliver software.
- They are technical. We expect engineering leaders to improve operational efficiency and develop a vision that leads to long term success of engineering teams. To accomplish that, the engineering leaders will need to acquire in-depth domain knowledge about every aspect of engineering operation. They are ready to roll up their sleeves to work alongside their team.
- They are comfortable with owning business goals. They actively plan and manage engineering activities; they come up with creative solutions to solve execution problems along the way to meet project timeline.

- They communicate well with business. They provide product owners with scope estimates and high-level milestones for evaluations of upcoming projects, and work closely with scrum teams in an agile environment to ensure work is consistently sequenced, digested, and completed at reasonable velocity.
- They care about long term quality and productivity improvement by strategizing and implementing a wide range of engineering initiatives such as automation and training to improve delivery capability. They continuously identify and address inefficiencies at a macro level.

**Your typical day looks like**:

- Attending stand ups and scrum meetings of delivery teams
- Collaborating with product owners, engineering technical leads and designers
- Drafting project plans for major initiatives
- Developing graphs, charts, and other visualizations to effectively demonstrate project statuses.
- Communicating updates and deadlines to all stakeholders
- Solve dependency conflicts and resourcing gaps.
- Scheduling executive meetings and gathering documents to prepare for meetings.
- Coordinating various executive arrangements
