Job Overview
Develop fit for purpose AIML models/algorithms/processes to address pharma/healthcare applications and innovative products upon completion of prototypes followed by the building of production grade algorithms/automation engines for client deliverables.

Essential Functions

  1. Supporting development of generative AI solutions in the life sciences domain
  2. Fine-tuning pre-trained foundation models and supporting different stakeholders with analysis and implementation
  3. Facilitates the transformation of machine learning research domain expertise in the areas of human data into viable prototypes
  4. Facilitates the development of features of models on individual projects and/or products with guidance and support from others
  5. Develops understanding of the creation of new algorithms through working alongside other Machine Learning Engineers and Machine Learning Research Scientists
  6. Facilitates the building and training of new production grade algorithms that can learn from complex, high dimensionality data in order to uncover patterns from which machine learning models and applications can be developed
  7. Uses a variety of techniques in order to improve the performance of individual natural language processing and/or machine learning algorithms
  8. Facilitates the testing and validation of models to determine viability for deployment with guidance and support from others
  9. Consult for internal and external clients, implement solution development and innovation to meet clients' needs, facilitate client AI project technical delivery

Qualifications

  1. Master's Degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related field
  2. Good commercial awareness/business judgement and an interest in the healthcare industry
  3. Good project management, time management and organizational skills; eagerness to work with internal and client business owners to ensure they are asking the right questions
  4. 2-4 years' experience working on creating machine learning algorithms
  5. Programming experience using one or more of the following: Java, C++, Python, R, Go, Kubernetes, Deep learning or equivalent
  6. Experience working with large, real world datasets
