What you will do
  1. Review and analyze system specifications;
  2. Collaborate with the development team to plan, develop, and apply testing processes;
  3. Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results;
  4. Create logs to document testing phases and defects;
  5. Report bugs and errors to development teams in Jira;
  6. Help troubleshoot issues;
  7. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle;
  8. Design and execute test cases and test scripts to understand their functionality, usability, and performance, and help the development team identify issues for correction;
  9. Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, test reports, and test documentation in xRay;
  10. Participate in Agile-Scrum development processes and provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement;
  11. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend corrective action.
Must haves
  1. 3+ years of experience working as a QA Engineer or Test Engineer;
  2. Experienced in automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Pytest;
  3. Experienced in API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, etc.;
  4. Experienced in Java and Python programming;
  5. Experienced in planning, designing, writing, and executing test cases and test scripts;
  6. Experienced with tools like Jira, xRay, GitHub, GitLab, etc.;
  7. Good understanding of Agile scrum methodologies;
  8. Excellent analytical, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills;
  9. Basic database knowledge: MySQL, Postgres, etc.;
  10. Experience with testing application software hosted in the cloud (AWS preferred);
  11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  12. Ability to think outside the box to develop multiple scenarios and identify non-traditional test cases to incorporate negative testing, edge cases, etc.;
  13. Quick learner and passion for troubleshooting;
  14. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  15. Strong attention to detail;
  16. Dynamic and proactive/demonstrate initiative;
  17. Excellent organizational skills, including a good sense of priority management, can quickly adapt to change;
  18. Experience in the technology sector within a SaaS company or procurement sector is an asset.
