Position available for candidates based in La Plata, Bahía Blanca, CABA, Córdoba, Rosario, or Mendoza.
As an IT Risk Analyst, you'll play a key role in protecting Avature's information assets by helping identify, assess, and manage information security and compliance risks across the organization. Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you'll contribute to the continuous improvement of our security, risk, and compliance programs while supporting customers, vendors, and internal teams on information security matters.
- Contribute to the ongoing maturity of Avature’s risk management and compliance programs.
- Identify, assess, and communicate information security risks affecting the organization.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of risk treatment and mitigation activities.
- Support informed business decision-making by providing timely and accurate risk assessments and security guidance.
- Become a trusted advisor on information security, risk, and compliance topics for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote the consistent application of security, risk, and compliance practices across the organization.
- Stay informed on emerging threats, industry best practices, and evolving regulatory requirements.

Your Day-to-day Activities
- Respond to compliance, risk and information security queries from customers, prospects, and internal teams.
- Perform information security risk assessments and document identified risks and recommendations.
- Monitor emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory updates that may impact the organization.
- Conduct vendor security assessments and identify risks related to third-party partnerships.
- Support cross-functional projects requiring information security or risk management expertise.
About You
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Solid understanding of information systems and information security principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or similar is a plus
- Familiarity with information security and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, SOC 2, or similar) is a plus
- Professional information security certifications are a plus.
- Comfortable using AI tools to enhance day-to-day work and interested in staying up to date with emerging AI capabilities.
