MST Test Lead/ Test Coordinator

The Opportunity

Strong Technical Experience around test tools including ALM, good communication skills and nice to have SAP domain experience.

Your key responsibilities

1. Coordinate the user acceptance testing for the releases.
2. Understand the release scope and support the business teams to complete the testing successfully.
3. Publish the test dashboards, follow-up on the defects, etc.
4. Ensure the teams adhere to the test process in ALM.
5. Raise the alarm to leadership at the right time if any challenges or risks in test delivery.
6. Lead the test teams and conduct various phases of testing.
7. Direct interaction with clients to coordinate UAT.
8. Ensure the test deliverables on-time with quality.
9. Lead Defect lifecycle and follow-up with respective functional/business teams for closure.
10. Communicate with business leads and provide appropriate support.
11. Work with global teams.

Skills and attributes for success

1. Significant experience around Service Management, Change Release Management and Quality Management techniques gained through IT program/project delivery and in an IT support environment.
2. Experience of working with multi-location teams.
3. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
4. The ability to work and team effectively with clients and other management personnel across geographies.
5. Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
6. Ability to understand, integrate and lead virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams.
7. Adopt a logical and organized approach to problem resolution.
8. Ability to clearly articulate both problems/risks and proposed solutions.
9. Willingness to learn quickly and to adapt to changing requirements.
10. Good numerate/mathematical ability.
11. Proven confidence in working with stakeholders and upper management.

To qualify for the role you must have

1. Experience of having worked on large, global IT deployment programs including preparing for go-live and supporting the immediate post go-live period.
2. Nice to have Automation test tools experience.
3. Testing experience in SAP environment desirable.
4. Excellent experience in client-facing roles within blue chip organizations.
5. Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure.
6. Ability to suggest, create and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve test process.

Ideally, you'll also have

1. Minimum of 8+ years IT related experience.
2. Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in test lead/test coordination role.
3. 3+ experience in HP-ALM (Microfocus) is must.
4. SAP experience is desirable.
5. Good to have experience in Test Automation tools.
6. One or more professional certificates to supplement formal education.
7. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
8. Attained ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing or equivalent.
