As a Remote Construction Quality Control Inspector at United Field Services, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality and compliance of our construction and maintenance projects, all from the comfort of your own home.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Reviewing completed tasks by vendors remotely to ensure adherence to project specifications and rigorous quality standards.
  2. Utilizing digital tools and platforms to perform inspections of construction and maintenance work, identifying defects, deficiencies, and deviations from project plans.
  3. Documenting and capturing photographs of all inspection results digitally.
  4. Providing prompt and clear feedback to vendors and project managers regarding areas for improvement or non-compliance through digital communication channels.
  5. Collaborating closely with project teams through online platforms to address and resolve quality issues expeditiously.
  6. Maintaining precise digital records and reports of inspection outcomes and corrective actions taken.
  7. Working in tandem with other team members through remote collaboration tools to continually enhance quality control processes and procedures.
  8. Ensuring that all work adheres to safety regulations and quality benchmarks.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in residential construction and maintenance work.
  2. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify quality concerns.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in an online environment.
  6. Competence in using digital tools and software for documentation and reporting.
  7. Capability to work independently and make well-informed decisions from a remote location.
  8. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
