Sr. Analyst, Accounting Operations

The Opportunity: Reporting to the Head of Finance of our Argentina affiliate, as the Sr. Analyst, Accounting Operations, you will provide operational support for CSL Behring Argentina in tasks related to the general accounting for Management, Statutory and Local accounts. You will manage reconciliation for IC/IG accounts and balances with group companies, and the generation of official information through legal books, including Journal and VAT books. You will be responsible for internal control, with activities to develop local procedures, and attending External and Internal Audits, providing supports for procedures, including evidence for management fees purposes. You will support preparation and submission of Budgets and Forecast, including Financials and additional information, ensuring that financial information is submitted in a timely and accurate manner based on the Corporate agenda through Finance Core, related to provision of financial information and physical support of documentation in order to submit a correct filing of taxes. You will assist with other duties and projects, including provision of financial information, business partnering vision and support for business analysis, jointly with analysis of procedures and its interaction with SAP system.
The Role- Support the accounting system in both local GAAP and for management purposes in compliance with the Australian International Financial Reporting Standards (AIFRS) and CSL Group Finance policies. Is in charge to provide accurate information on order to prepare Local Accounts for CSL Behring Argentina and biannual statutory accounts and to attend External Audits, performed on annual bases.
- Support the development of local procedures and collaborate in activities related to prepare actions plans for local external audits. Is the primary contact with External Audits, providing supports for procedures, and is in charge to collect evidence for services received from affiliates for management fees purposes.
- Provide support for preparation and submission of Budgets and Forecast, including Financials and additional information. Is in charge to provide information related to Actuals, in order to have a proper comparison with Forecast, necessary to detect variances and deviations. Collaborates in the analysis of expenses per cost center / responsibility area, in order to meet targets. Uploading the information into BPC.
- In charge of uploading financial information in a timely and accurate manner based on the corporate agenda. Processes are prepared based on SAP information and other related systems and uploaded into Finance Core. It also includes the preparation of Journal entries, balance sheets, profit and loss, cash flow.
- IC/IG focal point for account reconciliations and confirmations among other CSL entities.
- Prepare and provide financial information and physical support of documentation on order to have a correct calculation and filing of taxes. Is also in charge to support the calculation of transfer prices through the Transfer Pricing Model, issued on monthly bases.
- Fixed asset control, posting, and depreciation calculation.
- Preparation of variation analysis to check the consistency of the cost of goods sold and cogs adjustment proposal.
- Sales reconciliations between SAP and management system (Qlik sense).
- In charge of calculation and maintenance of standard costs of the inventories, based on FOB prices and local costs.
- Provide financial information and support for business analysis and support for analysis of administrative process and corresponding interaction with SAP system.
- Generation of official information through legal books, including Journal and VAT books as well.
- Provide operational support internal control, with activities to develop local procedures.
- Business partnering support.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Experience of 3 to 5 years in accounting, preferably in an international environment. Knowledge of GAAP and Australian IFRS accounting (desirable).
- Experience of 3 to 5 years in general administration.
