We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Strategic Finance Expert to join our dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Global Head of FP&A, you will play a key role in developing and shaping our business and financial strategy, as well as executing on a number of high-impact cross-functional initiatives at the company.

You will help us better understand our business model to drive continuous improvement of KPIs, collaborate with business partners to evaluate the ROI of products, features, and initiatives and develop dashboards and analytical frameworks that will guide the executive team.

ResponsibilitiesStrategic finance
  • Maintain Clara's consolidated corporate finance model, including updates to monthly forecasts, financial KPIs, debt covenants, balance sheet, and cash flow projections.
  • Prepare internal business review / planning materials and support investor reporting.
  • Drive financial and operational efficiencies by improving processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Oversee and monitor SG&A, ensuring budget alignment and driving cost efficiencies and process optimization.
New business initiatives
  • Build business cases including TAM analysis and financial projections to support new product launches and feature releases, prioritizing projects based on highest ROI.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards to advise and inform the finance team and executive leadership on new product performance.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis including unit economics, working capital management, cash flow forecasting, and customer acquisition efficiency models.
Business partner strategic analysis
  • Work closely with global and local leadership teams, providing financial insights to influence strategic business decisions that improve financial performance.
  • Act as a business partner by supporting growth and product teams with data-driven recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • 3 - 4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance / strategy, or management consulting. Experience in startups or fintech is a plus.
  • Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, with strong interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • You can build scalable, efficient, and intuitive financial models in Excel with ease. Experience with financial and data science tools such as Netsuite, Metabase, or SQL is a plus.
  • Highly results-driven with strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple time-sensitive priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials and analysis for executive-level audiences.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English as well as Spanish or Portuguese is required.
