The Accounting Manager will play an integral part in the dynamic culture of Life in Green. The ideal candidate will strive to take on multiple projects, working with the executive team to continuously move the business forward. The incumbent will support our development in South America & internationally while improving organizational efficiency and profitability. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounting Manager will manage the accounting and finance functions while participating in the development and implementation of IT centric business processes. The Accounting Manager will also perform financial forecasting, modeling, and operational metrics tracking. The ideal candidate is business savvy, dynamic, hands-on, detail-oriented, hardworking, self-motivated, and determined to succeed and grow within our organization.

  • KPI reporting and auditing
  • Pricing analysis / Price increase
  • Supplier setup
  • Credit and background checks
  • Insurance (receivable/business/claims)
  • Market Expansion
  • Manage contract negotiations and legal agreements
  • Oversee foreign currency transactions
  • Maintain and provide ongoing support for Microsoft Dynamics - Great Plains
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes
  • Oversee the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics - GP) and technology needs of the organization and manage IT service providers.
  • Maximize efficiency through on-going process review and process improvement implementation
  • Recommend changes that leverage best usage of the application
  • Define project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Commerce degree required in Accounting, CPA
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in an accounting or finance position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and office suite
  • ERP Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is considered an asset
  • Experience with implementation of new software systems and inventory management WMS
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter that excels at operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in English

Salary: 2200-2800 USD / month
