What you will be doing:

  • Participate in the Data Engineering team for data pipelines, mostly sitting on top of Spark (real-time processing) and data lakes. This role is not focused on pipelines and APIs, but instead, data distribution and maintenance.
  • Design and implement systems/processes to collect data from their execution systems to feed model generation, evaluation, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs.

You are a good match if you have:

  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources (internal and external) into the data warehouse.
  • Proficiency in Python and Pyspark.
  • Ability to ensure data quality and reliability throughout the process.
  • Skills to transform raw data into a usable format by applying cleaning, validation, and transformation processes.
  • Experience monitoring and analyzing data pipeline and database performance, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies to maintain high availability and responsiveness.
