We are currently looking for a Finance Specialist to join our growing team.

What you'll do

As a Finance Specialist, you will lead the monthly close process, coordinate with third-party local accountants and advisors, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also analyze financial results, prepare reports, and support external audits and tax inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead monthly close including responsibility for all month-end close activities.
  2. Coordinate with third-party local accountants and advisors.
  3. Prepare and record journal entries and accruals for monthly close.
  4. Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  5. Ensure vendor and employee reimbursements are processed and paid timely.
  6. Analyze monthly financial results for inclusion in corporate consolidated financial statements.
  7. Review monthly statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Monitor adherence to company's corporate accounting policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  9. Initiate and drive initiatives to improve controls and efficiency.
  10. Provide leadership to ensure implementation of accounting improvement opportunities.
  11. Respond to special financial requests and communicate potential problem areas.
  12. Conduct financial reviews and analysis as requested.
  13. Address relevant technical accounting issues and ensure compliance.
  14. Interact with local functions including HR, Legal, and Business Operation Teams.
  15. Interact with other Finance functions including FP&A Shared Services.
  16. Liaise with Tax, Treasury, and Internal Audit.
  17. Support external audits and tax inspections.
  18. Prepare Flux report, accruals and assets reports, and ad-hoc reports.
  19. Mentor associates as requested.
  20. Support internal areas on local requirements.
  21. Liaise with Transfer Pricing Team for LATAM.
Necessary skills and experience required:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  3. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Proficiency in accounting and invoicing.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  9. English language proficiency: Upper intermediate and above.
