Commerce Back End Developer (SAP) - Argentina

We are seeking a skilled SAP Commerce Backend Developer with at least 3 years of experience working on the SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework and will be proficient in implementing and maintaining key SAP Commerce modules. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and fluency in English, as the project is conducted entirely in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain backend functionality for SAP Commerce (Hybris) solutions.
  2. Design, implement, and expose services via OCC (Omni Commerce Connect).
  3. Create and optimize FlexibleSearch queries for database interactions.
  4. Develop new features and functionalities from scratch, ensuring scalability and performance.
  5. Work with SOLR for search configurations and indexing.
  6. Collaborate on WCMS (Web Content Management System) customizations and enhancements.
  7. Implement and manage cron jobs for scheduled tasks.
  8. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
  9. Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high system performance and availability.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) development.
  2. Proficient in Java and Spring Framework.
  3. Demonstrated experience with key SAP Commerce modules, including OCC, FlexibleSearch, SOLR, WCMS, and cron jobs.
  4. Proven ability to develop features from scratch, including design, implementation, and testing.
  5. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  6. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
  7. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP Commerce certifications.
