The Role

A Senior Presentation Designer who is responsible for creating visually appealing and effective presentations for the New Business team that communicate information, ideas, and concepts to multiple audiences. This role combines graphic design expertise with a strong understanding of storytelling and communication principles to deliver compelling presentations that engage, inform, and persuade.

Responsibilities
  1. Presentation Design: Collaborate with New Biz stakeholders, including executives, marketing teams, and subject matter experts, to understand presentation objectives and content. Conceptualize and design visually stunning presentations using a variety of tools and software, such as Microsoft PowerPoint and the Adobe Suite. Ensure consistent branding and visual identity across all presentation materials.
  2. Content Integration: Organize and structure content in a logical and easily digestible format. Incorporate multimedia elements, including images, videos, charts, and graphs, to enhance the presentation's impact. Edit and refine content for clarity and conciseness. Create/adapt custom graphics, icons, and illustrations to support key points and enhance the overall visual appeal.
  3. Animation and Interactivity: Implement animations and transitions to engage the audience and emphasize key messages. Develop interactive elements, such as clickable prototypes or hyperlinked navigation, for PDFs and/or user-friendly presentations.
  4. Quality Assurance: Review presentations to minimize errors and inconsistencies. Able to edit/amend multiple rounds of reviews.
  5. Audience Adaptation: Customize presentations and master's to the specific needs and preferences of the target audience. Adjust design elements, tone, and style to match the context of the presentation to New Business. Collaborate closely with project managers to align design with messaging and goals. Be open to feedback and iterate on designs as necessary.
Key Requirements:
  1. A bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field is essential.
  2. A minimum of 6 years of experience in Presentation Design, along with a solid portfolio that showcases creative and professional work.
  3. Excellent communication skills are vital, allowing the candidate to articulate design concepts and rationale to non-design stakeholders.
  4. Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and effective presentations in the New Business environment.
  5. Proficiency in design software such as PowerPoint, Keynote (optional), Google Slides and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is required.
