CREATIVE DIRECTOR

At Hola Ink, we're not your average creative agency or printer. We're a team of fun and passionate individuals based in Miami who live and breathe creativity and hospitality. We exclusively serve the cruise and hotel industry, working with a range of clients from boutique hotels to major cruise lines. Our focus on vibrant art and design allows us to create immersive and unique visual experiences for guests that capture the essence of each brand. Reports to: Director of Operations

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and oversee the creative vision, strategy, and direction for all projects and initiatives.
  2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute creative concepts that align with business goals.
  3. Provide artistic direction and guidance to design, copywriting, and production teams, ensuring the highest level of creativity and quality in all deliverables.
  4. Drive innovation and creative excellence across multiple channels, including digital, print, social media, and experiential.
  5. Manage and mentor a team of designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
  6. Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints.
  7. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative best practices, integrating them into the creative process as appropriate.
  8. Present and pitch creative concepts to internal stakeholders and clients, effectively communicating the rationale behind design decisions.
  9. Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  10. Act as a key liaison between creative teams and other departments, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment on project objectives.
  11. Foster client relationships by understanding their needs and providing creative solutions that exceed their expectations.
  12. Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute creative insights to support overall business growth.
  13. Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers as needed to supplement creative resources.
  14. Lead brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to generate new ideas and concepts.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Initiative and self-starting mindset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to change with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to thrive under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in creative roles.
  • Proven leadership in creative teams or agencies.

Creative Skills:

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse creative work.
  • Proficiency in digital design.

Leadership:

  • Inspiring leader with excellent people management skills.
  • Project management and resource allocation experience.

  • Deep understanding of branding and marketing principles.
  • Ability to align creative with business goals.

  • Clear and compelling communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Experience presenting and selling creative concepts.

  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial aspects of creative projects.
