Key Responsibilities
We are looking a Product Expert with experience in crushing and feeding equipment for the South America (SAMER) region, who will provide specialized technical and strategic support to our customers and internal teams Act as the primary technical authority for Crushing & Feeding products within the SAMER region.
* Provide technical and commercial support to the Sales and Service teams, including the preparation of technical proposals, product presentations, and demonstrations.
* Collaborate with the R&D team to identify product improvement opportunities and develop new solutions based on the needs of the SAMER market.
* Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify industry trends and strategically position our products.
* Develop and deliver technical training to customers, distributors, and internal personnel on the operation, maintenance, and optimization of our equipment.
* Participate in resolving complex technical issues and optimizing the performance of equipment installed at customer operations.
* Prepare technical and market reports, as well as product support documentation.
* Represent FLSmidth at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the mining or cement industry, specifically working with crushing and feeding equipment (crushers, feeders, etc.).
* Strong technical knowledge of the operating principles, maintenance, and selection of crushing and feeding equipment.
* Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is required. Portuguese is considered an advantage.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
* Willingness and availability to travel frequently within the SAMER region.
* Knowledge of simulation software and design tools (CAD) is desirable.
