You will manage a team of material and supply planners in a category, ensuring that mid- to long-term production/material plans are in place for your assigned plants/lines in line with approved business plans.

How you will contribute

You will:

  1. Prepare short and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans for items produced internally and externally for further review and approvals.
  2. Manage, coach and develop a team.
  3. Meet your KPIs including (but not limited to) meeting or exceeding customer fill rate, delivering finished goods inventories at or below target levels and meeting waste objectives.
  4. Work closely with internal and external manufacturing, marketing, sales, materials, and replenishment functions to deliver the category's goals.
  5. Deliver performance against approved master and detailed schedules and long-range plans (including capacity considerations) and material requirement plans using system tools.
  6. Be part of the construction of the supply review and escalating issues.
  7. Support and implement improvements in the planning arena to improve customer fill rate, inventory targets and waste reduction to meet company KPIs.
  8. Participate in and/or lead supply review meetings.

  1. Comprehensive supply chain, economic, financial or logistics experience and strong business acumen ideally within an FMCG/CPG environment.
  2. Open to learn new ways of working and willing to be hands-on in using data and systems.
  3. Experience in driving supply review and participation in an IBP cycle.
  4. Able to influence cross-functional teams, working on the key priorities and improving the plan.
  5. Able to build effective teams.
  6. Knowledgeable about leading practice supply planning and end-to-end supply chain concepts.
  7. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Job Description
  1. +6 years of experience in material planning.
  2. Experience with team management as a leader, working with different areas within the operation.
  3. SAP or other ERP systems experience.
  4. The role will be focused on materials planning not supply.
  5. Intermediate English is required for the role.
