Execution Trader

OverviewWe are expanding our Fixed Income team, the firm’s newest division launched in 2023, and are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Execution Trader to join our Buenos Aires office. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of the Argentine fixed income market, with exposure to ARS local currency bonds, global bonds, and FX. This role provides hands-on trading experience while supporting trade execution, market monitoring, strategy implementation, and senior traders.Location: Buenos Aires, ArgentinaReports to: Head of Fixed Income TradingKey ResponsibilitiesAssist in executing trades across ARS-denominated sovereign bonds, global bonds, and related FX positionsMonitor market flows, liquidity, and pricing to ensure accurate trade executionActively support senior traders in capturing market opportunities and implementing approved strategiesTrack macroeconomic indicators, monetary policy updates, fiscal developments, and geopolitical events affecting the Argentine fixed income and FX marketsPrepare summaries of market developments and assist in trade reportingSupport monitoring of positions and risk exposures, ensuring adherence to trade limits, compliance guidelines, and risk protocolsAssist in maintaining relationships with brokers, market makers, and counterpartiesContribute to the team’s understanding of the local market environmentQualifications & Requirements1–3 years of experience in trading, execution, or market support, ideally with ARS local currency bonds, global bonds, or FX marketsStrong understanding of the Argentine macroeconomic and political landscape, central bank policies, and debt marketsExcellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detailEffective communication and teamwork skills; Spanish and English proficiency preferredBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; additional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plusWhat We OfferHands-on trading experience within a collaborative, high-performance Fixed Income teamExposure to both local currency and global bond markets, with mentorship from senior tradersOpportunity to contribute to proprietary trading strategies and gain a strong foundation in execution and market analysisSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinance and SalesIndustriesInternet PublishingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Mamoru by 2xGet notified about new Trader jobs in Greater Buenos Aires. #J-18808-Ljbffr
