Key Tasks- Support for all legal and regulatory topics in the BU or Operations.
- First point of contact for all compliance concerns and matters in the BU or Operations.
- Identify and advise on content, changes, opportunities and trends in law and policy relevant to the BU or Operations, such as environmental, regulatory, antitrust and any other relevant areas of law.
- Analyze and establish the legal foundation for any planned next-generation technology which NSN plans to offer to its customers worldwide.
- Proactively monitor and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations, in coordination with HR, the CFO's office and the business in general.
- Support vendor contract-related activities and negotiations in cooperation with Vendor Contract Management, where required.
- Provide special relevant legal expertise depending on the planned and current projects and programs of the BU or Operations - e.g. labor, tax, finance, corporate, telecoms regulatory, competition, environmental laws, intellectual property rights.
- Work and cooperate with Corporate Affairs team to coordinate and integrate policy and government relations work within the BU or Operations.
- Manage external legal relationships with law firms and vendors or business partners.
- Plan, organise and manage external legal spend, in consultation with L&C Head, Business Units / Operations / Specialist Teams.
- Licensed Attorney to practice in Argentina with 8+ years of experience in Corporate Functions.
- Fluent English (oral & writing).
- Experience in Telco and/or IT segments is a plus.
- Capture, create and share knowledge and training in his/her expertise areas.
