About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled BIM Specialist with a strong background in architecture to join their innovative team in Sandton . This role is central to implementing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various projects, ensuring efficient collaboration and data management. You will be responsible for developing BIM standards, training staff, and supporting project teams in leveraging BIM technology for optimal design and construction outcomes in Gauteng . This position is perfect for a BIM expert passionate about driving digital transformation in the architectural field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
- Create and manage architectural BIM models for design and construction documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective use of BIM throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide training and technical support on BIM software and best practices to staff.
- Coordinate and resolve clashes identified within the BIM environment.
Requirements
- Experience as a BIM Specialist, BIM Coordinator, or Architectural Technologist with strong BIM focus.
- Expert proficiency in Revit and a deep understanding of BIM principles.
- Familiarity with other BIM-related software (e.g., Navisworks, Dynamo).
- Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
