Position Overview Job Title: Accountant Company: Entara Hiring Manager: Controller
Location:
Buenos Aires, Argentina (Remote / Hybrid) Employment Type: Contractor (via Deel) About ENTARA Entara is a leader in commercial refinery asset management for refining infrastructure, covering both traditional oil & gas and renewables. Role Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Controller to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Enterprise, and support monthly close processes.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Bookkeeping: Record bills, invoices, payments, and general financial transactions accurately. Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor payments, review supporting documentation, and maintain up-to-date AP records. Accounts Receivable (AR): Assist with AR activities and perform necessary follow-ups. Reconciliations: Perform daily/monthly bank and credit card reconciliations; identify and resolve discrepancies. Month-End Close: Support the Controller with the monthly accounting close, basic journal entries, and financial reconciliations. System Maintenance: Maintain accurate and timely accounting records within QuickBooks Enterprise . Compliance & Coding: Ensure all transactions are properly coded, supported by documentation, and aligned with company standards. Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the Controller with financial reporting, ad-hoc tasks, and audit/information requests. Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA track or completed degree).
Experience:
1 – 2 years of hands-on accounting experience (experience in professional services firms is highly desirable). Software: Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Suite is mandatory . Languages: Advanced / Fluent English (written and spoken).
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
