Administrative Maintenance Technician

The Administrative Maintenance Technician plays a pivotal role in providing administrative support to the maintenance department, ensuring efficient flow of operations and effective resource management. This role involves varied tasks ranging from document coordination to internal and external communication.

What will I be doing?

Manage documentation for the maintenance department, including work orders, preventive maintenance reports, inventory records, and related files.
Assist in the preparation and tracking of maintenance budgets by collecting cost data.
Support in the preparation of departmental performance reports by gathering and analyzing relevant data.
Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
Perform other assigned administrative tasks as necessary to support maintenance department operations.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:High school diploma minimum, preferably with additional training in administration, management, or related fields.
Experience: Previous experience in administrative or support roles, preferably in industrial or maintenance environments.
Proficiency in computer systems and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office), ability to learn and utilize computerized maintenance management systems.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Previous maintenance experience including electrical, plumbing or painting and decorating.
