Plant Quality Professional I

Team Overview and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the QHSE Manager, this role is accountable for establishing, implementing, overseeing, and managing Quality Assurance processes across all manufacturing stages to ensure the highest possible product quality.
- Create and maintain efficient systems to meet Plant and Company quality goals.
- Develop and enhance innovative quality databases for plant products for traceability and failure analysis.
- Lead Quality Assurance team to conduct necessary sampling, testing, and quality data reporting.
- Set up measurement equipment and calibration system to ensure accuracy and reliability of instruments and testing equipment throughout the manufacturing process and Laboratory.
- Identify quality issues through statistical analysis and collaborate with process engineering and manufacturing teams for corrective actions.
- Investigate and address returned products from customers, ensuring proper corrective actions through the Diamond System.
- Collaborate with plant personnel to implement effective process improvement methodologies.
- Provide guidance on problem-solving, lean operations, and operator-led process control for production units.
- Manage cross-functional relationships with other departments to optimize manpower and materials for desired product quality.
- Supervise support groups when required.
- Perform assigned tasks as directed by Manager.
Qualifications:
- Industrial Engineer or similar background
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Results-focused with a track record in high-performance manufacturing settings.
- Proven expertise in quality assurance management.
- Strong attention to detail while managing the overall strategic view.
- Ability to handle multiple complex tasks and work well under daily pressure.
- Skilled in motivation, communication, and driving continual improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid planning, leadership, and administrative capabilities.
- Experience in installing and maintaining electronic testing equipment.
- Must excel in motivation, communication, and driving continuous enhancement.
- High energy level; exhibits urgency and operates at a fast pace.
- Good grasp of business principles and practices; proficient in managing quality functions with a customer-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
- Critical thinker with strong analytical skills. Knowledge or experience in electrical/electronic gauge and testing is advantageous.
