We're looking for a senior DevOps engineer with proven experience in designing and implementing complex infrastructures.


This is a role that requires both design-level thinking and ability to execute and implement, while working largely by yourself.


To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in programming and be able to ship code, fast.

We do multiple things where the line between infra and software development is blurry, and you need to be equally comfortable in both.

At a minimum, you're fluent in Python. But ideally, you have substantial experience in at least one strongly-typed OOP language (such as C#).

You're a cloud-native engineer and you're deeply comfortable with standard cloud + Microsoft-specific tooling

This includes:

  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Helm
  • Argocd
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Blob
  • Keda
  • Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure Application Insights
  • Terraform
  • Azure Active Directory
  • Cloud networking (VNets, peering, firewalling, VPN)
  • Service mesh (Istio and similar)
Linux system administration skills are also necessary. You should be comfortable with Bash scripting and general administration of Ubuntu/Debian servers.


In terms of databases, we do a lot of work with relational databases of various flavors (MySQL, Postgres, SQL server) and we also employ noSQL solutions (Mongo, CosmosDB).

Ideally, you'll have experience in managing DBs with hundreds of millions of rows in at least one of the above.

While not a requirement, it will be considered a huge plus if you have prior experience in any of the following:

  • Deployment and maintenance of blockchain RPC nodes
  • Design and management of largescale data warehouses / bigdata analytics (Azure Data Lakes, Snowflake, etc)
You'll be working closely with software engineers and leadership in managing our growing microservices-based architecture. At the same time, you'll be a one-person team.

You're expected to bring expertise and experience across the entire infrastructure stack. And as mentioned earlier, you're expected to write code and automate as much as possible. We live and breathe Infrastructure as Code and we need you to be aligned with that mindset.
