The Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen plant has been writing automotive history since 1915.
It is the largest production plant of Mercedes-Benz AG and the competence center for the production of vehicles in the upper premium segment at Mercedes-Benz, including the S-Class, the EQS and the E-Class.
We are looking for an intern for the Supply Chain Center at the Sindelfingen plant to work on interesting and challenging projects and tasks.
The main tasks of the team include the support of external service providers, operation of plant warehouses, warehouse and process optimization, collaboration on innovation projects, department controlling, personnel planning and the cross-plant coordination of standards and methods for outsourcing logistics.
These are some of the challenges you will face:- Organization and participation in projects (taking over a partial work package from the overall project)
- Preparation and implementation of work/project meetings
- Media design of projects
- Documentation of the project status, taking milestones into account
- Preparation of decision papers for project management and higherlevel committees
- Assistance with team management (e.g. preparation of managementoriented documents for higher management levels, organizational topics within the team)
- Team and department controlling, coordination and collection of key figures and store floor management
- Collaboration in the redefinition and further development of interface processes
- Project and team work
Qualifications
- Degree in industrial engineering, business informatics, business administration or a comparable course of study with a focus on logistics
- Proficient in written and spoken German and English
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Commitment and ability to work in a team
- Analytical, conceptual way of thinking and structured, goaloriented way of working
- Good communication skills
- Project experience desirable
