Main Purpose:
Supervise laboratory activities and product development to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards established by the company, and contribute to the growth of the business
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise finished product tests in the laboratory to ensure product approval according to the standards defined by the Company.
- Control laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with required quality and safety standards.
- Maintain laboratory supplies stock to ensure their availability.
- Supervise laboratory operating procedures to ensure compliance with quality and HSEQ (includes energy) standards established by the Company.
- Adhere to safety measures required for work in the laboratory to ensure compliance with required safety standards.
- Contribute to plant management system certifications and/or maintenance.
- Supervise and/or approve raw materials, finished products to ensure compliance with internal and external customer requirements.
- Perform performance evaluations of subordinate staff.
- Serve as replacement supervisor for different areas.
- Prepare technical specifications for packaging and raw materials of products.
- Request budgets and prepare purchase orders through Navision for laboratory supplies and technical services or equipment.
- Enter invoices into Navision system.
- Control stock of chemical precursors and send quarterly reports to RENPRE.
- University degree or higher education in Engineering Chemical
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Microsoft Office skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with different levels of the organization.
