YOUR MISSION:

Mural is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join the Payroll/Treasury/Accounting team. As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for both payroll accounting and general accounting duties.

This role will be a critical member of the team and will report directly to the Associate Payroll Manager.

As part of this role, you will be directly responsible for:

  • Preparing payroll accounting journal entries for Mural and other relevant accruals (variable compensation, paid time off) on a monthly basis
  • Ownership of payroll balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Assisting in controlling benefit expenses together with estimating accruals
  • Entering and managing equity transactions in the company's stock administration tool, with the goal of ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Ownership of the company's bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with other general accounting duties (accounts payable invoices, payment of vendor invoices, reconciling intercompany accounts)

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
  • 35 years of professional experience in general accounting (general ledger, accounts payable), payroll accounting in international environments
  • Proficient with equity accounting and experience managing a stock administration tool is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and priority setting skills
  • Deadline oriented; able to work in a fastpaced environment with everchanging priorities
  • Flexible to meet changing priorities and the ability to prioritize workload to achieve ontime accurate results
  • Detailoriented, selfdirected, and able to effectively complete tasks with mínimal supervision
  • You are use to working with globally distributed teams
  • Must have experience with a large ERP system, Netsuite is a plus
  • Proficient with Excel and Google sheets
  • English/Spanish social and communication skills (verbal and written), across all level
