At Ready Set, we make new video ads for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok every week for large clients like Cerebral, Hims, NordicTrack, Weight Watchers and more.


It's like Saturday Night Live:

Monday we're writing on a new script and the rest of the week our producers and editors work to get it made.

The ad then goes into testing and we get to learn if it's a hit or not.

Coming up with ads that have a 7-figure impact for clients is an awesome feeling and a GREAT product to sell.

We have grown revenue 300% y/y without anyone in either sales or marketing.


As a Controller you will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.


What you'll do:

  • Manage daytoday operational needs, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, expense management, vendor management, and payroll processes
  • Lead our internal accounting team. Manage two current members and expand the team as necessary.
  • Work with tax accountants on tax preparation and planning
  • Assist management with financial reporting including job costing and profitability by client
  • Review monthly financial statements with accounting team and management
  • Supervise accounting vendors in preparing financial reporting, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Monitor company's accounts receivable process including collections and communicating with the accounting team regarding the setup of the client in QBO
  • Help build financial models to forecast and track financial performance
  • Establish systems and processes in partnership with Production, Operations, Logistics and other departments to ensure timely and efficient closes
  • Manage and process payroll utilizing Gusto (includes processing of payments for foreign consultants)
  • Work with external accountants to ensure timely closing and reporting
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters
  • Define, implement, and monitor internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures

What you're good at:

  • Accounting: you have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred and 5+ years of experience.
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience in establishing and successfully implementing internal controls, accounting policies, and financial systems
  • Good understanding of finance
  • Experience with audit process a plus
