Description:

The client is a product international company with a common goal to redefine the legacy approach to Privileged Access Management by delivering multi-cloud-architected solutions to enable digital transformation at scale. In a DevOps environment, even the most skilled developers can use some help designing cutting-edge, cloud-native systems. The client's Cloud Engineering team is responsible for creating secure, scalable, cost-conscious systems to support our enterprise-scale global SaaS products; developing tools and services to streamline operations and the platform development experience, and providing subject matter expertise around cloud-native architecture and progressive delivery.

Requirements:

Job Description

  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies and systems design. You should be well versed in constructing systems that are: modern, reliable, low-maintenance, enterprise-scale, and multi-tenant SaaS.
  • Fluency in at least one high-level programming language (C#, Python, Go, etc.), and one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of protocols and technologies foundational to the web which span across all layers of the OSI Model.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing software and infrastructure on top of cloud services. (we use Azure primarily).
  • Experience developing solutions in a FedRAMP-compliant environment and considerable working experience with NIST Guidelines such as 800-53.
  • Experience working with messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ or Azure ServiceBus.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment.
  • Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and other cloud-native technologies.
  • Infrastructure as Code expertise, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.
  • Ownership of solution design lifecycle (analysis, architecture, development, hosting, etc.).
  • Proven problem-solving skills and experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced, high-growth environment. Exhibit ownership of projects and tasks assigned.
  • Effective communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills are required to adapt to a constantly changing technical environment.
  • Comfortable engaging product management, product development, and architecture teams proactively to improve products and services and solve daily challenges.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science or software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Job Responsibilities:

In the role and capacity of Senior Cloud Architect - you will be expected to:

  • Collaborate closely with other architects, engineers, and developers to design, develop, test, and debug cloud architecture and cloud-native solutions for a secure and scalable infrastructure platform hosting a myriad of services for a global SaaS organization.
  • Work within a DevOps framework to assist with designing and deploying containers and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission.
  • At a deep technical level, evaluate service alternatives between public cloud and self-hosted infrastructure.
  • Ensure that systems can meet and exceed internal and external SLAs.
  • Design business continuity solutions for a variety of PaaS/SaaS systems which includes automation and complex custom solutions to achieve 4 9's availability.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Contribute to and evangelize cloud-native architectural patterns and take an ownership stake in maintaining adherence to them.
  • Work closely with software architecture and development teams to integrate cloud-native solutions and products, optimizing for cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
