EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

We are looking for a Concur Contracting Specialist colleague to be part of our Global Concur Contracting Team and work on SAP Concur deals and on tasks related to deal/contract review & structuring, deal support, contract creation, contract validation, reviewing systematized contracts, supporting Regional Sales Executives, and closing cases that come into the Contracts Management Team’s queue. If you are detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills, you will be a good fit to this position.

 

The Global Concur Contracting team supports Sales Executives globally (APJ, EMEA, Americas) and is part of the Global Commercial Finance (GCF) Cloud Incubation CoE which supports Concur, Callidus and OEM LoBs. The GCF Cloud Incubation CoE is a critical pillar within the GCF Commercial CoE, which provides deal support for cloud deals.

 

Daily tasks:

  • Create contracts based on standard templates for SAP Concur existing and potential new customers: Responsible for drafting, modifying, updating, and finalizing contracts, including new and add-on business for Standard, Professional, Premium and No-Edition implementation customers. The team processes contracts for Small & Medium Business (SMB) and large corporations.
  • Manage a variety of commercial contracts/requests in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.
  • Contract Validation: Review and validate contracts for accuracy of terms, products, pricing, promotions and contract information per company policies and procedures.  
  • Internal Customer Support/Administration: Assist with contract cancellation and contract amendments for non-revenue generating issues (Terminations, Swap of services, etc.).
  • Answering internal queries from Regional Sales Executives regarding customer’s contracts.
  • Anticipate issues and initiate actions to resolve them using professional judgment and concepts, company policies and procedures.
  • Review proposed deals submitted by Account Executives.
  • Work closely with other internal departments and stakeholders from Billing, Deals Desk, Field Services, Product Marketing, Legal, Commercial, and Implementation etc.
  • Drive efficiency and process improvements. Support on projects, reporting and monitoring activities.
  • Active month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close to the sales community in a highly dynamically driven environment.
  • Some involvement in deal support/deal approval would be required.
  • Additional tasks as may be directed by Manager.

 

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably at least 1 year experience with contract creation and drafting.
  • Preferably working experience with Shared Service Centre and Center of Expertise organizations.
  • Experience with Salesforce/SAP systems is a plus.


 EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Advanced written and spoken English skills. German, French, Portuguese, or any other language are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills is a must.
  • Strong team player, proactive mindset and "can do" attitude
  • Extremely detail and customer-oriented, organized, proactive and with strong follow-up skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and solve problems with little direct supervision.
  • Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Able to work within a global team environment effectively, as well as function independently.
  • Ability to remain flexible in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
